A few weeks ago I went to the Renegade Craft Fair in Williamsburg and it was awesome. I met up with my friend Alyssa and got all sorts of things. Despite the rainy day we ended up having a great time. I can’t wait for their November market! There was just so much I wanted to get. I’m definitely going to have to set aside some funds for the next time.We split some tasty crepes from La Crêpe C’est Si Bon. It took forever to get them but after taking one bite of the savory one I’d have to say it was totally worth it. Couldn’t resist this Rocky Mountain Post Card. I’ve got a collection of post cards from each place we’ve lived and this one is perfect to represent Colorado. The mountains are one of the few things I miss about that place. The postcard and the National Parks patch is from Ello There. Love this Stay Hungry Enamel pin from Yardsale Press. It’s so perfect. I’m hoping to pick up a print from them sometime soon as well. They were all just so good I couldn’t decide. They made the buttons as well. Okay so this deer vertebrae necklace is pretty much my favorite thing ever. It’s made by Sultana Maria. I pretty much fell in love the moment I saw the necklace. Pretty much everything in her booth was fantastic. Sultana was also just the cutest. I love when artist don’t just make great things but are also awesome people.
The goat tattoos were being given out by Billie Blooms who sells the cutest little bloomers. Made me wish that my littles were still little! Okay so Alyssa Hoppe‘s booth was a lifesaver. Just as it started to rain we walked up to her booth and she was doing a garland making workshop. Perfect. We sat down for probably about an hour making garlands. I even learned to macramé! It was super exciting and so nice to get out of the rain. By the time we were down the main downfall had passed. As soon as I got home I had to find a home for my garland. All in all it was a great time. Sadly I didn’t take nearly as many pictures of the actual fair as I would have liked. Rain. Meh. But I’m really glad I didn’t let the rain stop me. Here’s a few more artist that I saw there that you should check out!
ABJ Glassworks – Beautiful glass hanging planters, moon phases, and jewelry display pieces.
Art Star Gallery and Boutique – A cute shop located in Philadelphia, PA with all sorts of different artist represented.
Gnome Enterprises – Awesome shirts. Seriously, I want them all.
Greenwich Letter Press – I loved all their prints and cards they have to offer. They even have enamel pins (which is my new jam.)
Saurstar – I really like her teeth rings and NYC dirt necklaces!
Ever since going to Renegade I’ve been going through Etsy like everyday. I realized that for so long all I did was look and consume free things without actually supporting artist. Of course I was never really in a place to spend the amount of money most artist deserves but that’s a whole different situation. Anyway, point being, I’ve really gotten in to supporting artist that I’m into. Plus it means I have more pretty things to decorate my office/apartment with! If you’ve gotten any recommendations for things you think I might like, send them my way!
